Welcome! The Office of Medical Education at Hamilton Health Care System supports all aspects of medical education within the system. Staff schedule rotations, maintain the academic calendar, and assist faculty in curriculum development across rotations in community-based Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs.
The department performs similar activities for medical students who are part of the Dalton Campus (part of the Northwest Georgia campus) of Augusta University/ Medical College of Georgia as well as a cohort of students from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)-Suwanee campus.
Job Shadowing programs are also managed by the department to ensure opportunities for those interested in learning about a variety of health care careers. Through these resources, and its management of continuing medical education (CME) for the system,
