Baby Care Basics

Like any new skill, breastfeeding takes knowledge and practice to be successful. Pregnant women who learn about how to breastfeed are more likely to be successful than those who do not. You will learn how breastmilk is made, how to know your baby is getting enough milk, helpful techniques for positioning and latching, ways to prevent or treat breastfeeding problems, as well as information about breastfeeding when you return to work.

Childbirth I & II Education

It is designed for the expectant mom and her support person.  This class should be completed during the fourth to fifth month of pregnancy. The class is FREE of charge but pre-registration is required.  Early registration is recommended.
