COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Heart Health Assessments Hamilton Health Care System offered free screenings to the community to detect potential signs of heart disease. The screening included cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure checks, and a heart health assessment.

Hamilton once again provided an
educational seminar and a free cardiac
risk assessment including blood
pressure, calcium scoring, lab work.

Language Workshop
ASCI recently hosted a Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) workshop. The program was held in conjunction with The Center for AAC & Autism.

For Her Event
Hamilton hosted its “For Her” women’s event. The event included free health screenings, physician seminars, mini massages, giveaways, and more.

Hamilton Health Care System regularly participates in health fairs and community events across the region.

Student Career Days

Hamilton Health Care System visits schools across the region to educate students on college pathways and career opportunities in healthcare.

Hamilton Medical Center Ranks #1

Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) was recently recognized for medical excellence and patient safety quality by CareChex®. HMC was ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation in three categories for 2024.

The awards are based on a comprehensive quality scoring system that compares inpatient quality performance across general, acute and non-federal U.S. hospitals.

For Patient Safety, Hamilton is ranked as number one in the market for Cancer Care, Major Cardiac Surgery, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Joint Replacement. Hamilton is also ranked in the top 10 percent in the state in Patient Safety in Cardiac Care, Joint Replacement, Major Orthopedic Surgery, Pneumonia Care, and Pulmonary Care.
