Could a Sleep Disorder Be the Cause?
Sleep problems often develop gradually and may go unnoticed for years. You may benefit from a sleep evaluation if you or your child experience:
Nighttime Concerns
- Loud or chronic snoring
- Pauses in breathing during sleep
- Restless or disrupted sleep
- Trouble falling or staying asleep
- Mouth breathing during sleep
Daytime Symptoms in Children
- Excessive sleepiness
- Attention or behavioral concerns
- Poor school performance
- Morning headaches
- Mood changes or irritability
Health Effects in Adults
Untreated sleep disorders may contribute to:
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes or high blood sugar
- Anxiety or depression
- Ongoing fatigue and low energy
- Memory and concentration problems
If these symptoms sound familiar, a sleep evaluation may help uncover the cause.
