Cardiologist Steven Austin, MD, FACC, FSCAI, recently joined Hamilton Health – Cleveland, 2414 Chambliss Ave., Cleveland. The practice offers consultation, evaluation and treatment in all aspects of cardiovascular disease.
“I love interventional cardiology,” says Austin. “It’s a sub-specialty that allows me to stent a vessel that’s 100 percent closed and stop a heart attack in its tracks. It’s hard to beat that. It’s a very rewarding field.”
Austin is also a board-certified interventional cardiologist. He attended medical school and completed his residency training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tenn., and completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C
