DALTON, Ga. (April 13, 2026) – Regency Park Health and Rehabilitation recently received a 5-star rating – the highest rating possible – from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The designation is given for “much above average” quality of care compared to other nursing homes. It is based on health inspections, staffing and other measures of care.
According to the rating system posted at medicare.gov, Regency Park has far better marks than both the state and national averages when it comes to both infection control and incidents that trigger citations. The nursing home also excels in retaining staff, which can factor into the ability to provide higher quality care.

Jeremy Gravell, Regency Park administrator, said the rating system is a starting point to help families compare different nursing homes and make informed decisions about where to place a loved one.

“We believe each of our residents deserves to stay somewhere that is personal and comfortable,” Gravell said. “This rating is a reflection of the dedication it takes to prioritize high quality care.”
