Hamilton Medical Center’s behavioral health services have been celebrating Mental Health Month in May and reminding people that behavioral health is essential to everyone’s overall health and well-being. Mental illnesses are common and treatable. This year’s theme is an expansion of last year’s theme, 4Mind4Body. The focus is on the importance of animal companionship, spirituality and religion, humor, work-life balance, and recreation and social connections as ways to boost mental health and general wellness.
