Beginning July 14, 2025, Hamilton Medical Center implemented a new sign-in process for visitors. We are phasing this in, starting with the main lobby entrance during visitation hours. Patients will continue to register as normal – this new process is only for visitors.
What will the process look like?
This is a quick process where you will enter your name in a mobile device kiosk and receive a printed badge with your name and photo to wear while you are here. For ease, you are welcome to scan a Driver’s License rather than manually typing your name, but ID is not required. Our friendly staff will be there to assist with the process and to answer any questions you might have.
Why are we implementing this process?
Hospitals, schools, and other facilities around the country are beginning to implement similar check-in systems to replace signing in manually. Safety is our first priority. Implementing this process adds another level of protection for our patients, visitors and staff. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable during their visit at Hamilton Medical Center.
As with any new process, the first couple of days will take a little extra time to assist our guests through the process. We will have multiple kiosks available to help move things along, and we greatly appreciate your patience as we transition to this new system. Again, ID is not required, but scanning your Driver’s License is one way to sign in quickly, so please have that ready if you choose to use that option.
