Hamilton Health Care System is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement with UnitedHealthcare, effective June 1, 2024.
This multi-year agreement ensures people enrolled in employer-sponsored commercial plans have network access to Hamilton Medical Center – the health system’s flagship hospital – as well as Hamilton-employed physicians and the majority of independent physicians who are affiliated with Hamilton Medical Center. Additionally, six ambulatory surgical centers and Hamilton’s imaging center are included.
“This much-anticipated agreement means our patients with UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored commercial plans can stay close to home to see their trusted providers,” said Jeff Myers, president and chief executive officer for Hamilton Health Care System. “We appreciate UnitedHealthcare’s partnership in providing network access to quality and affordable care at Hamilton Medical Center, Hamilton Health Care System locations, and with Hamilton Medical Center’s affiliated independent physicians who are participating in the health plan.”
