Hamilton Medical Center is offering a Hands-Only CPR and Early Heart Attack Care class on Wednesday, June 27 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the upstairs classroom inside Bradley Wellness Center.

 

The class is nearly full, however, if full when registering, you can add your name to a waiting list for the next class that is expected to be held in August.

 

The course will cover the Hands-Only CPR technique that can save lives. This presentation is for informational purposes only and will not result in CPR certification. Plus, participants will learn about the signs of an impending heart attack that can occur days or weeks before the actual event. These early symptoms need to be recognized and treated to avoid the damage caused by a heart attack.

 

Jerry Long, clinical education specialist, Lynette Bennett, Chest Pain Center coordinator, and Hamilton Emergency Medical Services personnel will teach the class.
