Kobayashi recently gathered 140 books for the patient library at Hamilton Medical Center (HMC). The books will be available to family members and patients staying at HMC as well as patients receiving infusions at Peeples Cancer Institute. Kobayashi works on a social action project each month. They have previously hosted a blood drive and food drive, coordinated by Ernest Oventrop, Training and Development Administration, and Allen Howren, labor control coordinator.
