Hamilton Hospice is inviting anyone who has lost a loved one to attend its fall memorial service at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12. The event will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 101 Selvidge St., in Dalton.
Hamilton Hospice is holding the service in honor of the loved ones cared for during the latter part of 2022 and into 2023.
“The Memorial Service is an opportunity to celebrate the lives of our patients and provide a place where family members and friends can share memories and find comfort,” said Misti Bowers, director of Hamilton Hospice.
The service is designed to comfort family members, friends and healthcare workers in attendance with words of encouragement, a remembrance candle lighting and special music. Each family is invited to bring a framed picture of their loved one for display.
Co-hosted by the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hamilton Health Care System, the memorial service is held each spring and fall.
