Brian Pearlman, MD, FACP, FAASLD, AAHIVS, completed his medical degree at the University of Miami, Florida, and his post-graduate training included both Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas-Southwestern and Internal Medicine at Baylor University-Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Pearlman is a Fellow for the American College of Physicians (FACP), a Fellow of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (FAASLD), and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. He is certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVS), has formerly held a seat on the Board of Directors for The American Liver Foundation’s Southeast Chapter, and is active in the Georgia Department of Public Health Viral Hepatitis Working Group and ECHO program.

Dr. Pearlman is a member of the Faculty of Hamilton Internal Medicine Residency Program, as well as a Professor of Medicine at Emory School of Medicine and Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Pearlman is widely published in leading journals such as The Lancet, Gastroenterology, Annals of Internal Medicine, Hepatology, The American Journal of Gastroenterology, The Lancet Infectious Disease, Clinical Infectious Diseases, The American Journal of Medicine, and JAMA.
